Surat: Inauguration of the New Corporate Building of Sachin Industrial Society
Surat. In a significant step towards the industrial development of Sachin GIDC, the new corporate building of Sachin Industrial Company Society Limited was grandly inaugurated on Thursday.
Sandeep Desai, the MLA of Choryasi, inaugurated the new building at 11:15 AM. A large number of industrialists from Sachin GIDC, officials from various industrial organizations, and social leaders were present on this occasion. The society, which was previously operating from the third floor of Arihant Complex, has now moved to its new building located in front of the water tank on Road Number-6.
This modern building, constructed with the financial support of industrialists, has cost over 2.5 crore rupees. The building is equipped with corporate-level facilities in line with current requirements. The officials of the society mentioned that the industrialists of Sachin GIDC generously provided financial support for the construction of the new building.
The building has been designed with modern office facilities and arrangements have been made to ensure regular income for the society. Some parts of the premises will be rented out to banks and other institutions to create a model for permanent income. During the event, MLA Sandeep Desai addressed the industrialists, stating that a strong institutional framework is the foundation for the development of any industrial sector.
He mentioned that the new building will not only expedite the administrative functions of the society but will also assist in providing better services to the industrialists. He noted that continuous efforts are being made for the development of industries, infrastructure, and public facilities in the Choryasi assembly constituency. Several pending issues related to electricity, roads, traffic, and security in Sachin GIDC have been resolved, and work is ongoing on various projects.
During the program, Vinay Agarwal, Chairman of CETP-Sachin, stated that MLA Sandeep Desai has always played an active role in resolving industrial issues. He mentioned that whenever the industrial sector faced problems related to any government department, the MLA provided significant assistance in resolving them. Kamalvijay Tulsyan, President of Pandesara GIDC, Jitu Vakharia, and Paras Shah of Orgo Chemicals, among several industrialists, described the new building as an important achievement in the direction of the development of Sachin GIDC.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the society's president Kishorbhai Patel, secretary Mayur Golwala, director Gourang Chhapotwala, Vishnubhai Brahmbhatt, vice president and notified chairman Nileshbhai Gami, former president Nileshbhai Limbasiya, Umeshbhai Jadugar, Manharbhai Parmar, and a large number of industrialists. Dinkar Rai Naik, who established the society in 1990, was also present at the event and expressed his happiness upon seeing the new building. Secretary Mayur Golwala mentioned during the program that the government has provided approximately 15 crore rupees worth of 3,000 square meters of land at a nominal token price to strengthen the security and basic facilities of Sachin GIDC.
Additionally, approval has been granted for a foot overbridge to cross the highway at Gate Number-2, ensuring the safety of workers and pedestrians. Furthermore, a new connectivity road project has also been approved to reduce traffic pressure on Roads Number-2, 5, and 6, which is expected to significantly alleviate traffic issues in the future.
