Vadodara : Gujarat Board Exam Helpline Flooded with Calls from Std. 12 Students
Confusion over Promotion, Subject Choices, and Paper Style Plague Students Ahead of Exams
As the countdown begins for the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education exams, students are grappling with confusion and panic due to the disruptions caused by the pandemic. According to the helpline established by the Board, they have received a significant number of calls from students in Std. 12, who are facing challenges due to mass promotions in Std. 10 last year.
With the importance of Std. 12 exams in determining a student's career, many are concerned about their preparedness and performance. The helpline has received calls related to confusion about subject choices, paper style, and even complaints about DJ and TV volume at party plots.
One of the major issues troubling students is the choice between standard and basic maths in Std. 1, with many regretting their decision to opt for standard maths. Helpline member and Principal Paresh Shah advised students to seek guidance from their teachers and spend more time on the topic to improve their understanding.
As the exams draw closer, the Board has emphasized the need for necessary guidance and support for students. While the helpline is available to address concerns and queries, students are advised to approach their teachers for personalized guidance and support.
