Disabled Man and his Son were Assaulted after Filing Police Complaint against Harassment
A disabled father and his son were brutally attacked with a sword and an iron pipe by a gang of four people in the Kishanwadi area of Vadodara city. The attack came after the father and son attempted to file a police complaint against the gang who had previously harassed and thrashed them over cycling in a common plot.
Tushar Solanki, who works as a contract cleaner at Vadodara railway station, had previously been accosted by Jayaraj Machi, who had threatened him not to cycle in the area. When Tushar attempted to report the harassment, he and his disabled father were attacked by Jayraj Machi, Raj Kahar, Naniyo Kahar, and Anuraj Kahar.
The injured father and son were quickly shifted to Sayaji Hospital for treatment, and the Panigat police have registered a case against the accused under sections including atrocity assault. Further investigations are currently underway.
The brutal attack on a disabled man and his son has sparked outrage in the Vadodara community, with many calling for swift and decisive action against the accused.
