In a significant move to enhance connectivity, Surat has now been linked to Tirupati by Star Air Airlines, enabling travelers to complete the journey in just three hours. This significant reduction in travel time comes after the construction of new taxiways and parking facilities at Surat airport, allowing for an increase in the number of flights.
Star Air Airlines has commenced connecting flights from Surat to Tirupati every Wednesday. The new route also connects Tirupati with Kishangarh and Belagavi, although this will be a connecting flight with one stop. Previously, it took an entire day to travel between Surat and Tirupati, but with this new connection, the journey will be drastically shortened.
The schedule for the new service reveals that the Star Air Airlines flight will depart from Tirupati at 10:35 hrs, reach Belagavi at 11:40 hrs, take off again at 12:15 hrs, and finally land in Surat at 13:30 hrs.
The introduction of this flight route marks a major milestone for Surat Airport, reflecting its growth and expansion. It offers a faster and more convenient option for travelers, boosting tourism and business opportunities between the two cities.
