Surat : – The Ladies Wing of the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI) conducted an enriching industrial visit to Euro Foods at Ichhapur GIDC. The tour comprised around 40 prominent women entrepreneurs, including the Ladies Wing Chairperson Manisha Bodawala, Co-Chairperson Geeta Vaghasia, and Secretary Plavnami Dave, who gained valuable insights into the production unit of Euro Foods.
Sapna Saspra of Euro Foods extended a warm welcome to the women's wing, introducing them to the multifaceted production unit. The tour began in the quality check room where the women were introduced to the methods for testing oils for proteins and fats.
The group observed and studied the entire process of creating various food products, including Moong Dal, Chana Dal, Bhakar Vadi, Chips, Gathia, Chiku, and juices like Litchi and Guava.
A highlight of the visit was the examination of the entire process of chip production, from quality checking and cleaning the potatoes to packing them in the production unit. Special attention was given to the manufacture and packaging of juice bottles, an integral part of Euro Foods' operation.
The visit served as an educational experience for the women entrepreneurs, shedding light on the utilization of advanced technology in the manufacturing of various food products. The interactive tour provided an opportunity to understand the industry's best practices and technological advancements, paving the way for potential collaboration and innovation within the region's business community.
