The Bhartiya Jain Sanghtana's (BJS) Surat Unit has appointed Ajay Ajmera, MD of Ajmera Fashion and leading industrialist and associated with Digambar Jain Samaj, as its President, and Raunak Kankaria as General Secretary. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by BJS National President Rajendra Lunkad. The team includes several other members, such as Vice President Kailash Jhabak, Dr. Surendra Munot, KK Jain, Arvind Kothari, Co-Ministers Dr. Shreyans Jain and Satish Sanklecha, Treasurer CA Arihant Jain, Co-Treasurer Fenil Kothari, Sanjay Bothra, Raju Tated in Media and Publicity, Santosh Gogad, Lalit Jain, and Kishore Bhansali were also included. Mrs. Monika Mandot took the oath as the in-charge of the Women's Unit.
The appointment of Ajmera and Kankaria comes two years after the establishment of the BJS Surat branch under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sanjay Jain, who is now the President of Gujarat Pradesh BJS.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by several officials, including Nileshbhai Mandlewala, Sanwarmal Budhia, City BJP General Secretary Kishor Bindal, City Councilor Dinesh Rajpurohit, FOSTA President Manoj Agarwal, Former FOSTA President Tarachand Kasat, Rajasthan Yuva Sangh President Vikram Singh Shekhawat, and famous singer Bhavin Shastri.
During the ceremony, National Incharge of Smart Girl Dr. Harshita Jain, Gujarat State President Prof. Dr. Sanjay Jain, Minister Sanjay Chavat, Surat BJS Founder Ganpat Bhansali, Counselor Rajesh Surana, Mahendra Gang, Dr. Nirmal Choradia, Sanjay Surana, Mrs. Kanak Barmecha, Rakesh Jain, Sanjay Agarwal, and other officials were present. The program coordinator was Kiran Gogad, and the stage operation was done by Nisha Jain and Meenakshi Agarwal.
The appointment of Ajmera and Kankaria is expected to bring new ideas and initiatives to the Bhartiya Jain Sanghtana's Surat Unit. Their team includes individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills, and they are committed to working together to strengthen the BJS's mission and vision.
