Surat Pharmacy Manager Apprehended for Unlawful Sale of Intoxicating Syrup
Coordinated Operation between SOG and Food and Drug Department Uncovers Illegal Activity at Apple Pharmacy, 9 Bottles Seized
Surat: A joint operation between the Special Operations Group (SOG) and the Food and Drugs Department exposed and put a halt to the illicit sale of intoxicating syrups at the Apple Pharmacy Stores, Limbayat Mahaprabhunagar. This swift action resulted in the detention of the store manager and the seizure of nine bottles of the contentious syrup.
Sources within the SOG confirmed that ASI Hitesh Singh Dilipsingh and Head Constable Rajubhai Damjibhai were tipped off about the illegal activities at the Apple Pharmacy. Acting on this intel, the SOG and the Food and Drug Department orchestrated a strategic approach to verify the claims.
The team deployed an undercover decoy customer to the pharmacy for verification of the tip. Once the illicit transaction was confirmed, a raid was immediately conducted on the premises.
During the raid, the team successfully seized nine bottles of the intoxicating syrup from the pharmacy. The store manager, Vaishnav Dainikbhai Dhirubhai, a resident of Punagam, Surat, was promptly detained. A formal case has been registered and further action is being taken in this matter.
