Rare Green Snake Rescued from Activa in Surat's Navagam Dindoli

Surat: An uncommon green snake recently sparked a commotion when it was found inside an Activa scooter parked near Santoshinagar Garnala in Navagam Dindoli. The discovery was initially made by senior citizens sitting near a shop, who noticed the reptile had made its way into the vehicle owned by Hitesh Patil.

Despite immediate efforts by Patil and his friends to extract the serpent, their attempts were unsuccessful. Realizing the gravity of the situation, they promptly informed the local fire brigade and the Nature Club.

Responding swiftly to the distress call, the fire brigade first attempted to dislodge the snake by using water pressure. However, when this method proved ineffective and the snake remained elusive, a mechanic was summoned. With careful precision, the trunk of the Activa was opened, and the snake was ultimately rescued with the aid of a stick.

The Nature Club later identified the creature as a non-venomous green snake species, measuring approximately three to four feet in length. To ensure its safety and return to a natural habitat, the snake was released into a nearby forest area with the assistance of the Nature Club.
