Surat Hosts 7th Employment Fair with Nationwide Participation

Surat - As part of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi's commitment to youth employment, Surat's Sarsana Platinum Hall was abuzz with energy during the seventh employment fair, one of 44 organized across the country. The event saw the presence of the Union Minister of State for Railways and Textiles, Mrs. Darshanaben Zardosh, who chaired the proceedings, and the Minister of State for Education, Prafullabhai Pansheriya.

The highlight was a virtual congratulatory message from Prime Minister Modi to the freshly appointed youth.

Employment opportunities spanned various departments, including the Income Tax Department, Postal Department, FCI, SVNIT, Central Bank of India, and LIC. In total, 77 individuals received their appointment letters during the event.

Mrs. Zardosh emphasized the importance of these employment fairs as platforms connecting employers with potential employees. "Gujarat stands as a beacon, leading in job provisions even to those who reside beyond its borders," she noted. She praised the transparency of the recruitment process and celebrated the fact that 70,000 young men and women across the nation have secured jobs through these fairs.

In her concluding remarks, Mrs. Zardosh inspired the young recruits to embrace their roles, seeking out new experiences as they work in various parts of the country. "For a united and superior India, we must all embody the spirit of true Karmayogis," she remarked.

The event, reflecting the government's commitment to youth empowerment and employment, also saw the attendance of notable personalities including MLA Pravinbhai Ghoghari, Mohanbhai Dhodia, and Chief Income Tax Secretary N.R. Soni, alongside numerous eager job aspirants.
