Surat – Following predictions of heavy rainfall on July 20 and 21 by the Meteorological Department, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) took the precautionary step of postponing all its regular and external examinations originally slated for those days. The rescheduled dates have now been set for August 1 and 2.
VNSGU, which boasts the largest campus in Gujarat, had scheduled exams including B.Sc Semesters 2 and 4, B.A. Semester-1, external course Financial Year, S.Y., M.A. Part-1, and M.A. Part-2 to begin from July 20. However, the impending weather conditions prompted the institution to issue an advisory postponing these tests.
The university has since communicated to all affiliated colleges about the rescheduled dates, underlining the reason being the heavy rains that have been affecting the South Gujarat region, including Surat. Furthermore, students can now access the updated timetable for these exams on the university's official website.
