Regional Passport Office, Surat is constantly striving to make passport services easy and accessible to the peopleof South Gujarat. With the increasing demand for passports and in its endeavor to reduce the long tatkal waiting cycle within one to three days in Tatkal category, RPO Surat would like to inform all the citizens of South Gujarat that this Office is going to organize a Special Passport Drive as on 25.02.2023.
The appointments are released, consisting of 300 Tatkal and 600 General appointments, at PSK Surat to utilize the full capacity of the appointments (no PCC slots will be released). It is also to inform all the citizen that each POPSK under the jurisdiction of RPO Surat will be functional on 25.02.2023 with its full capacity. In this context, it is to be clarified that the appointments are released on 22.02.2023 and available for applicants who wants to reschedule / prepone as well as for new applicants. However, this opportunity will allow only one preponement.
Applicants are advised to take decision carefully regarding preponement of appointments since the applicant fails to appear after rescheduling the appointment (single chance), he/she will have no opportunity to reschedule/choose another date. Ultimately it aims to reduce the long waiting cycle for passport appointment and help applicants who are interested in getting an early appointment for passport.
