Surat: Laghu Udyog Bharati organized tree plantation on World Environment Day

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Surat, organized a tree plantation program in collaboration with Rungta Green Home Society under the leadership of President Ramavatar Parik. The aim of the program was to raise public awareness about environmental protection and inspire society towards a green future.

Pankaj Sharma, Joint Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati, stated that environmental protection is an important subject among the five key principles of the Panch Parivartan campaign of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He mentioned that as an organization associated with entrepreneurs and business members of the Sangh family, Laghu Udyog Bharati is continuously working in the field of environmental protection and awareness. The program commenced with a young girl planting a tree.

Attendees pledged to plant and protect at least one tree every year in memory of their birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and loved ones. A sapling was also planted in memory of the late Vikram Singh Shekhawat, former president of Laghu Udyog Bharati, Surat, as a tribute. Members present expressed their commitment to follow his ideals while remembering his social and organizational contributions.

Speakers at the event emphasized that trees are not only a means of maintaining environmental balance but also an invaluable heritage for the safe and healthy future of upcoming generations. They called for more tree planting and protection, stressing the importance of spreading the message of environmental protection to everyone.

The event was attended by many dignitaries and seniors, including Bajrang Soni, Mularam Chhajed, Poonamchand Jain, Rameshchandra Sharma, Tansukhlal Rathi, Dineshbhai Yadav, and Ramesh Chavda. Officials and members of Rungta Green Home Society also actively participated in the program.
