In this context, to provide a new direction to trade and explore opportunities in the international market, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) has announced the launch of a special 'Export Guidance Course' for traders. This 80-hour course is designed to provide comprehensive information related to exports for Surat's traders and entrepreneurs. The first session of the course will begin on May 18.
Kailash Hakim, the president of the Federation of Surat Trade and Textile Association (FOSTA), stated that Surat has better quality, attractive designs, competitive prices, and strong capacity for large-scale supply. However, many traders hesitate to start export businesses due to a lack of proper guidance and information. He mentioned that the future belongs to export-based trade, and if Surat's traders move forward with the right direction and information, the city's textile industry can create a new identity in the international market.
Through this course, participants will receive detailed information on the export process, government schemes, documentation, international markets, payment security, subsidies, and other important topics. The course will also familiarize traders with practical aspects of increasing trade in the global market, enabling them to reach international levels with their products. Kailash Hakim urged traders to take advantage of this opportunity, stating that this course, available for a nominal fee, could open new avenues for trade and play a significant role in earning foreign currency for the country.
