Surat: Chamber of Commerce's 'Wealth Expo 2026' concludes with grandeur, investors receive vision for future economy

Surat. The three-day 'Wealth Expo 2026', organized by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCII) and JITO Surat, concluded with enthusiasm on Sunday.

At the International Exhibition and Convention Center in Sarsana, leading investment experts, industrialists, and policymakers guided investors on future economic prospects and responsible investing. Harsh Sanghvi was notably present at the closing event. He addressed industrialists and investors, stating that while becoming a wealth creator is commendable, they should not forget their core industry and social responsibilities.

He highlighted that creating jobs and improving the living standards of employees is equally important. He advised focusing more on industry expansion and job creation rather than just spending time on the stock market screen. Development Khemwani addressed investors on the topic of 'Wealth Creation Beyond Bull Markets', expressing confidence that India's economy has the potential to make significant leaps globally in the coming years.

He expressed belief that the Nifty could reach the level of 1 lakh in the future. He advised investors to focus on creating more and sustainable assets rather than making quick money, emphasizing the power of compounding in equity. He also suggested that investors should invest with wisdom and long-term strategies rather than just tips.

Khemwani mentioned that India is the youngest country in the world and that the manufacturing sector will become a major engine of economic growth. He also referred to yoga and meditation as the foundation of 'Health is Wealth'. Nirmal Jain and Hitesh Doshi also guided investors on future economic prospects, energy, technology, and long-term investment strategies during the program.

The Chamber's president, Nikhil Madras, stated in his welcome speech that despite being the Chamber's first initiative, 'Wealth Expo 2026' received a response far more positive than expected. He noted that this event would prove to be a significant step in establishing Surat as a national center for investment and financial awareness. A large number of industrialists, investors, and businesspeople, including Milan Parikh, Ashok Jirawala, Bijal Jariwala, and Ramesh Vaghasiya, were present on this occasion.

Rapid-fire sessions and interactive discussions were also organized for investors during the event. Various institutions, including Mehta Wealth, Jainam, Nivesh I, and Unison, provided special support to make the event successful.
