Surat: Shanti Om Program Held at New Association Office in Sachin GIDC, All Activities to Start by Diwali

In Surat, the Sachin Industrial Cooperative Society organized the Shanti Om program with rituals at the newly constructed association office on Friday. The ceremony took place in the presence of a large number of industrialists and officials at the new office building located on Road Number 6 in Sachin GIDC.

According to Mayur Golwala, the secretary of the Sachin Industrial Cooperative Society, the old office had been operating since 2001 at Arihant Complex on Road Number 2 but had become dilapidated over time. The officials of the newly elected transformation panel in 2023 decided to construct a new office, and the foundation stone for the new building was laid on January 22, 2024, in the presence of Sandeep Desai, the MLA of Choryasi Assembly constituency. The construction of this modern building, which is being built at a cost of over 2 crore rupees over two years, has reached its final stages.

A bank facility has also been established on the ground floor of the building, creating an additional source of income for the organization through rent. During the Shanti Om program held on May 9, 2026, the kumbh installation was performed with the blessings of daughters Dhairya, Neewa, and Shriwa. The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures from the industry, including the former and current notified chairmen of Sachin GIDC, Nilesh Gami, and secretary Mayur Golwala.

After the program, a large number of industrialists participated in a communal feast. Subsequently, the first executive meeting in the new building was held under the chairmanship of Kishorbhai Patel, where development works and upcoming plans were discussed in detail.

The officials of the organization stated that the construction of the building and furniture work is in the final stages, and all administrative and social activities will commence from the new office by Diwali. On this occasion, several industrialists and representatives of society, including the chairman of the new office building, Mitulbhai Mehta, were present.
