Anjali Gold Supports Over 200 Elderly Residents at an Old Age Home on Mother’s Day
New Delhi, India — On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Anjali Gold organised a special welfare initiative for elderly residents living in an old age home, where over 200 senior citizens were provided support and care during the ongoing summer season. The initiative was led by food adulteration activist and founder of Anjali Gold, Mrs. Anjali Saxena, who spent the day with the residents and personally interacted with them.
With temperatures rising across North India, many elderly people living in old age homes face difficulties due to extreme heat conditions. Keeping this in mind, the Anjali Gold team distributed fans across the facility to help residents stay comfortable during the summer. Coconut water and freshly prepared meals were also served to all the residents to help them remain hydrated and cared for during the visit.
Apart from distributing essential items, the team also carried out maintenance and repair work at the old age home to improve the overall living conditions of the residents. Areas requiring repair and upkeep were restored with the support of the Anjali Gold team as part of the initiative.
Mrs. Anjali Saxena spent time with the elderly residents throughout the day, listening to their stories and interacting with them personally. Many residents shared emotional moments and expressed happiness over being remembered and cared for on an occasion like Mother’s Day.
Speaking during the initiative, Mrs. Anjali Saxena said, “Mother’s Day is not only about celebration. It is also about responsibility, respect, and standing beside those mothers who may feel alone. Even small efforts can bring comfort and happiness to someone’s life.”
Over the past few months, Anjali Gold has been actively involved in awareness-driven and social welfare initiatives across different communities. The brand, known for promoting awareness around food adulteration and purity, has continuously focused on creating meaningful ground-level impact beyond business activities.
The management of the old age home appreciated the efforts made by Mrs. Anjali Saxena and the Anjali Gold team and thanked them for supporting the residents during the harsh summer period. The initiative concluded with meals, conversations, and moments of emotional connection between the residents and the volunteers.
Through such initiatives, Anjali Gold continues to promote social responsibility, public awareness, and community support while encouraging people to care for the elderly and vulnerable sections of society.
