The Western Railway's Vadodara division has decided to run a superfast special train between Pratapnagar and Lalkuan to manage the increasing number of passengers and additional crowd. This train will operate at special fares and will provide service for a total of 18 trips.
As per a press release issued by the Western Railway's Public Relations Officer Anubhav Saxena, the train will be operated as train number 09119/09120 Pratapnagar–Lalkuan Superfast Special. Train number 09119 will depart from Pratapnagar every Sunday at 17:00 and will arrive at Lalkuan the next day at 12:45. This service will be available from May 3, 2026, to June 28, 2026.
Meanwhile, train number 09120 will depart from Lalkuan every Monday at 15:50 and will reach Pratapnagar the next day at 11:30. This train will operate from May 4, 2026, to June 29, 2026. The train will stop at various stations including Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam Junction, Kota Junction, Gangapur City, Bharatpur Junction, Mathura Junction, Hathras City, Kasganj Junction, Bahedi Junction, and Kichha, benefiting passengers from different regions.
The train will have AC-2 tier, AC-3 tier, sleeper class, and second-class general coaches, making travel convenient for all categories of passengers. Booking for train number 09119 will start on May 2, 2026, at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.
Passengers are advised to visit the official Indian Railways website for detailed information regarding the train's stops, timings, and structure. The operation of this special train is expected to provide significant relief to passengers traveling between North India and Gujarat.
