Surat: Grand Conclusion of Seven-Day Shri Ram Katha in Bhestan

 

The seven-day Shri Ram Katha held in the Bhestan area concluded in a grand and reverent atmosphere. Devotees were overwhelmed with emotion as they had the opportunity to listen to the discourse from Acharya Yuvraj Pandey Ji Maharaj.

On the seventh and final day, such a large crowd gathered that there was no space for the devotees to sit; nevertheless, they enjoyed the katha while standing and sitting amidst the crowd. Maharaj Ji presented various episodes from the Ramayana in such a vivid and poignant manner that the listeners felt as if all the characters of the Ramayana were present before them. Attendees were seen discussing that such a learned storyteller had visited Surat for the first time.

Many devotees described this unique katha event as a first for Surat. The organization’s president, Bhargav Panda, expressed gratitude to all the devotees, stating that their presence and enthusiasm made the katha successful. The descriptions of the Lankakand and Uttar Kand were particularly captivating, presented in a highly impactful manner by Maharaj Ji.

The success of this event was attributed to the special contributions of the organization’s vice president Manoj Giri, treasurer Om Prakash Choubey, Kapil Pandey, Rajkumar Pathak, W Singh, Devendra Singh, Ram Janak Shukla, Bablu Dubey, Bhagwat Shukla, Chitrasen Padhy, Shrikant Narayan, Ajay Master, Rajan Dwivedi, Rinku Rai, Guddu Singh, Anil Singh, Anil Pandey, Manu Mahapatra, Saroj Tiwari, Govind Panda, along with all officials and members. At the conclusion of the katha, Maharaj Ji also thanked all the devotees. Devotees remarked that such a grand and spiritual event was witnessed in Surat for the first time.
