A special orientation program was organized for the newly admitted students of Class 1 and their parents at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, ONGC on the occasion of the entrance festival.
The program began with a welcome speech by the school's principal, Rajesh Kumar, who warmly welcomed all parents and students. During the event, students from the primary section presented a sweet welcome song, creating a joyful atmosphere. Following this, Mrs. Daksha Gupta, in charge of the primary section, informed parents about the school's rules and procedures. She provided detailed information about the perspective of the New Education Policy 2020, foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) activities, and the 'Vidya Pravesh' module. An engaging presentation through a PPT showcasing various activities conducted under FLN and Creative Learning Activities (CLA) was also appreciated by the parents.
The main highlight of the program was a creative selfie booth, where parents and students enthusiastically took pictures. Additionally, students were distributed the 'Vidya Pravesh' activity booklet, school diary, and gifts. At the end of the program, Mrs. Anjana Bundela, PGT (Biology) and in charge of admissions, expressed gratitude to everyone and presented a vote of thanks. The program was successfully concluded, and parents appreciated the school's efforts.
