Surat: AI-Powered 'Speed Business Networking Conclave' Generates Over 10 Crore in Business Opportunities
Surat. The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCCI) successfully organized the AI-powered 'Speed Business Networking Conclave' at Platinum Hall in Sarsana on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Over 600 entrepreneurs and professionals from various cities in Gujarat participated in the conclave, which ran from 9 AM to 2 PM. The conclave's highlight was the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance and streamline networking. A total of 2,584 references were exchanged during face-to-face business meetings held in three different rounds, leading to an estimated potential business of over 10 crore.
Mumbai's NLP trainer Amit Pathak and Surat's business coach Vishal Shah served as expert speakers at the event. Amit Pathak mentioned that artificial intelligence has become a powerful medium for business growth, enabling small and medium enterprises to enhance their efficiency and competitiveness. Vishal Shah emphasized the importance of digital tools and automation in increasing speed and efficiency in business.
The chamber's president, Nikhil Madras, stated that this is the first conclave in the country promoting effective networking through AI, aimed at providing entrepreneurs with a platform to create more meaningful business connections in less time. The chamber's vice president, Ashok Jirawala, noted that representatives from over 10 major institutions and more than 500 entrepreneurs from various sectors gathered at the event, fostering new business relationships. During the conclave, each participant had the opportunity to meet different categories of entrepreneurs in three rounds of 30 minutes each, allowing them to effectively present their products and services.
The AI-based process included QR codes at each table, enabling participants to digitally record business inquiries. Chandrakant Prajapati, chairman of the SGCCCI Business Connect Committee, mentioned that all activities at the conclave were digitally recorded and displayed on a live screen. At the conclusion of the event, Deepak Kumar Sethwala, chairman of the chamber group, spoke about developing more large networking platforms in the future.
Entrepreneurs from Gandhinagar, Gandhidham, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad also participated in significant numbers, making this conclave an important business platform at the state level. The chamber's honorary treasurer, CA Mitesh Modi, thanked the surveyors present at the conclave. Conclave in-charge Vishal Bakshi provided information about the technical aspects of the AI-driven conclave.
Harsh Gujarati, a member of the SGCCCI Business Connect Committee, introduced the speakers. Ms. Parul Sosha, Ms. Pinky Desai, and Ms. Payal Shah conducted the conclave.
