Surat. The Hydraulic Department of Surat Municipal Corporation will carry out necessary maintenance work at the Jogni Nagar Water Distribution Station in the Randher area.
As part of this work, new valves will be installed on the pipes connected to the main common header line to improve water pressure from the station located in Adajan, and the rising main line will be connected to fill the tank. Due to this technical work, the water supply will be completely suspended on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 8:50 PM. Additionally, low water pressure is also expected in some areas.
According to the municipal corporation, this water cut will affect several societies in the Adajan and Randher areas, including Merulakshmi Society, Rangavadhut Society Section-3, Gujarat Housing Board, Suman Sandhya Housing, Hayat Residency, Royal Heritage, societies around the Causeway, Shashwat Complex, Govind Nagar, Sahajdham, Vasant Vihar, Parshuram Garden, L.P. Savani School area, Suman Vihar, Milan Park, Green Valley, Shubham Park, Yamuna Complex, Maharshi Arvind Society, Jalaram Nagar, Crystal Complex, Akshardham Society, D-Mart area, Haridarshan Society, Umiya Park, Atma Park, Sai Vihar, Aashanagar, Sanskar Park, Hariom Nagar, Shrinath Society, Revnagar, Navrang Society, Kankunagar, Western Villa, Green Avenue, the area around TGB Restaurant, and many other residential areas.
Additionally, there may also be disruptions in water supply or low pressure issues in Randher Gam Tal and surrounding areas. The municipal corporation has appealed to citizens to store necessary water in advance and use water carefully during this period to avoid inconvenience.
