Surat: Grand Musical Sundarkand Event Held, Thousands of Devotees Participated

 

A grand religious event was organized in Surat city on Friday, April 10, 2026, to spread the message of cow service to the masses. The event was successfully conducted by the Surat branch of Pathmeda under the guidance of the founder and chief patron of the world's largest cow shelter, Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda, revered GoRishi Swami Shri Dattasharanandji Maharaj.

The renowned Sundarkand reciter Ajay Yagnik recited the musical Sundarkand, which thousands of devotees listened to and gained spiritual benefits. The event commenced at 5 PM at Panchvati Hall, Maharaja Agrasen Palace, located in Citylight, and continued late into the night. During this divine occasion, the attendees experienced devotion, faith, and spirituality through the verses of Sundarkand.

The entire atmosphere was filled with devotion to Lord Rama. Alok Singhal, CEO and in-charge of Shri Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda, shared that a large number of cow devotees, cow service workers, and lovers of the Ramayana from Surat participated in the event with their families to earn religious benefits. He expressed gratitude to all the attendees, stating that this event proved to be a powerful medium to convey the importance of cow service to the public.
