Surat, April 2 — Following the announcement of the Local Government General Election-2026 by the State Election Commission, the Surat district administration has intensified its preparations.
Under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector Dr. Saurabh Pardhi, the administrative machinery is fully engaged in the election process. In this context, a special training session was conducted for election officers and assistant election officers of Surat Municipal Corporation.
This training was organized by District Supply Officer and Nodal Officer (Training) Darshan Shah. During the training session, officials were provided with detailed information about various responsibilities, rules, and arrangements related to the election process.
They were also informed about how to conduct the election work in a fair, transparent, and organized manner. The district administration is continuously organizing such training programs to ensure that all officials and staff involved in the election process can fulfill their responsibilities with complete efficiency and that the upcoming elections are conducted peacefully.
