Commissioner Gehlot emphasized that Surat’s traffic police remain committed to prioritizing public safety and road discipline. Addressing the issue of illegal parking in no-parking zones, he instructed officers to intensify punitive actions against violators to ensure better compliance.
As per report, the meeting also covered a wide range of traffic violations including wrong-way driving, over-speeding, riding without helmets, using mobile phones while driving, unauthorized movement of heavy vehicles, violation of official notifications, and the use of black films on vehicle windows.
