Mahavatar Cinematic Universe Announced: A Decade-Long Animated Film Series on Vishnu’s Avatars

Mumbai, June 25 — Hombale Films and Clean Productions have officially announced a grand animated cinematic universe titled Mahavatar, centered around the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The seven-part film series will span over the next decade, beginning in 2025 and concluding in 2037.

The series will commence with Mahavatar Narasimha in 2025 and conclude with Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 in 2037. The scheduled timeline includes:

  • Mahavatar Narasimha – 2025

  • Mahavatar Parshuram – 2027

  • Mahavatar Raghunandan – 2029

  • Mahavatar Dwarkadhish – 2031

  • Mahavatar Gokulanand – 2033

  • Mahavatar Kalki Part 1 – 2035

  • Mahavatar Kalki Part 2 – 2037

The inaugural film, Mahavatar Narasimha, will be directed by Ashwin Kumar and produced under Clean Productions by Shilpa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai.

Director Ashwin Kumar expressed his excitement, stating, “With strong collaborators like Clean Productions and Hombale Films, we are bringing India’s cultural legacy to the big screen like never before. This spiritual and cinematic journey begins with the avatars of Mahavatar... now India will roar!”
