23 Artists from Gujarat Create Record by Depicting India’s 23 Sacred Sites in Diverse Art Forms

Vadodara, June 8 – A group of 23 artists from various cities across Gujarat, including Vadodara, have earned a place in the Influencer Book of World Records by creating artistic representations of 23 sacred sites from across India using multiple art mediums. This unique record was set during a special group exhibition held in Vadodara on May 31, 2025.

As per agency report, the artists were honored for their exceptional contributions at an award ceremony held on June 8, 2025, at the P.N. Gadgil Art Gallery in Vadodara. The ceremony was inaugurated by renowned international rangoli artist and world record holder Rajendra P. Dindorkar.

Participants in this collaborative project hailed from Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Padra, Kwant, and Halol. In a single day, they created artworks using a variety of mediums, including acrylic, oil pastel, watercolor, Tanjore painting, color pencils, poster color, soft pastel, pencil shading, MDF art, and digital art. The youngest participant was just 13 years old, while the most senior artist was 65.

The artists visually interpreted some of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites through their work. These included Shirdi Sai Temple, Siddhivinayak, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Somnath, Bagdana, Akshardham, Kashi Vishwanath, Buddhist Stupas, Vadtal Dham, Golden Temple, Akkalkot, Rameshwaram, Ram Mandir, Mahakali Temple, Banaras Ghats, Kayavarohan, Rishikesh, Mathura, Kanchipuram, Sun Temple, Jagannath Puri, and Majisha Temple.

Through this collective achievement, the artists not only highlighted India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage but also conveyed a powerful message of unity and harmony.
