Vadodara Swimmers Shine with 47 Medals at Gujarat State Aquatic Championship

Vadodara: Swimmers from Vadodara delivered a remarkable performance at the 66th Senior Gujarat State Aquatic Championship held in Ahmedabad on May 17–18, 2025. The team clinched a total of 47 medals, once again marking their strong presence in the state’s swimming arena. Their medal tally included 21 silver and 26 bronze medals.

Among the standout performers, Anushya Kaithwas and Avani Singh each secured 6 silver and 3 bronze medals. Om Kadam added 3 silver and 1 bronze to the tally, while Forum Brahmbhatt won 2 silver. Bhavya Mehta earned 1 silver and 5 bronze, Jaydeep Kithoriya bagged 1 silver and 3 bronze, Himdhi Chauhan claimed 2 silver and 1 bronze, Madhav Daudia took home 5 bronze, Harsh Maheshwari earned 3 bronze, and Harshil Wagh contributed with 2 bronze medals.

The athletes credited their success to coaches Krushna Pandya and Vivek Singh Boraliya, along with trainers Subodh Kumar and Bipin Kumar. The swimmers praised the team's discipline, hard work, and dedicated guidance, calling their success a reflection of Vadodara's growing sports culture.
