Surat: Maheshwari Community Organizes Successful Mega Blood Donation Drives Across Textile Markets

Surat: In a commendable display of social responsibility, Surat District Maheshwari Sabha, in collaboration with the Ramakant Kunjbihari Kasat family, successfully organized mega blood donation camps across various textile market complexes in Surat. The initiative sent a strong positive message across the region and showcased the community’s commitment to public welfare.

At the Avadh Textile Market campus, members of the City Maheshwari Sabha enthusiastically engaged in the service activities. Bharat Raj Randhad, the Sabha’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, shared that the goal was to collect 100 units of blood, which saw enthusiastic participation from numerous donors. Donors were provided with refreshments, gift items, appreciation certificates, and a special medical card for future emergency blood requirements.

The medical team at the Avadh market camp was led by Dr. Ankita Shah from Samvedna Hospital. Key contributors to the event’s success included Sabha President Tulsi Ram Heda, Secretary Ramanuj Asawa, and the CMS team comprising Naval Dargad, Gopal Dad, Rameshwar Dad, Manoj Rathi, Satyanarayan Rathi, Pawan Gandhi, Rajesh Kalantri, and Rajesh Baheti.

Another blood donation camp was held at the Radha Krishna Textile Market under the coordination of Mahesh Mitra Mandal. According to Mandal President Manoj Bisani, the core objective of the group remains social and national service. The camp was supported by a team from Kiran Hospital.

The organizing team from Mahesh Mitra Mandal included Rajesh Nagauri, Swaroop Bhattar, Narendra Rathi, Sawai Chandak, and Vinod Mohta, among other executive members.

The enthusiastic participation of the Maheshwari community at both venues demonstrated the strength of unity and the impact of collective service. These successful camps underscored how community efforts can bring about meaningful change when driven by a shared purpose.
