Gujarat Launches Phase II of Horticulture Schemes on i-Khedut Portal 2.0 for FY 2025-26

Vadodara, May 8 – The Gujarat government’s Horticulture Department has begun the second phase of application submissions for various horticulture schemes under its i-Khedut Portal 2.0. Aimed at providing modern agricultural support to farmers for the year 2025–26, the initiative allows eligible farmers from across the state, including Vadodara district, to apply for assistance under 68 different components until May 31, 2025.

As per official information, the portal offers financial aid and technical support for a wide range of agricultural activities such as floriculture, cultivation of medicinal and aromatic crops, construction of trellises for vine vegetables, beekeeping, grading and sorting units, sugarcane farming, and purchase of tissue culture plants. These schemes are backed by government subsidies to promote sustainable and profitable farming.

To avail benefits, farmers must first register themselves on the official portal at https://www.ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in. After selecting their desired scheme, applicants are required to upload all necessary documents and confirm their application. It is advised to keep a printed copy of the confirmed application for records.

Once the application is approved, farmers must submit the signed application form along with supporting documents to the office of the Deputy Director of Horticulture, located behind Raopura Police Station in Vadodara.

The Deputy Director of Horticulture has urged all eligible farmers to take full advantage of this government initiative to modernize their farming practices and increase agricultural income. The scheme represents a continued commitment to empowering farmers through innovation and accessible support.
