Surat, April 18 – Deep Darshan Vidya Sankul in Dindoli hosted a successful three-day cricket tournament, DPL 3.0, aimed at promoting physical development and sportsmanship among students. The event featured 27 matches played among 16 enthusiastic teams, involving 208 students and 32 guiding teachers.
The tournament culminated in an exciting final match between Fitness Fighters and Patel Boxers, where the Fitness Fighters emerged victorious with a strong performance.
Sanket Patel was declared Man of the Match in every game he played and was also awarded the Best Bowler title for claiming 14 wickets throughout the tournament. Jha Vishnu impressed with the bat, scoring 204 runs in five matches, earning him the Best Batsman award.
The award distribution ceremony was held in the presence of School Administrator Dashrath Patel, Tushar Patel, Principal Bhavesh R. Joshi, and supporting sponsors. Trophies, medals, and cash prizes were presented to the winning and runner-up teams.
Coordinators Harsh Jariwala and Mahendra Patel played a significant role in ensuring the success of the event. With active support from sponsors and the school administration, the tournament proved to be an inspiring initiative toward the holistic development of the students.
