Vipra Foundation Zone 15 Prepares for Grand Celebration of Parshuram Jayanti and Khetaram Ji Maharaj’s Birth Anniversary
Surat: The Vipra Foundation Zone 15 is set to host a grand week-long celebration in honor of revered deities Chiranjeevi Lord Parshuram and Brahmanshavatar Khetaram Ji Maharaj. Preparations are in full swing, with an important planning meeting recently held at Vipra Gaurav Bhavan in Saroli to finalize the weekly schedule of events.
Foundation President Ghanshyam Sewag stated that both deities hold significant spiritual importance for the Brahmin community, and their birth anniversaries will be marked with a variety of religious and social programs starting April 25. The festivities will commence with ceremonial worship of Khetaram Ji and Lord Parshuram on that day. On April 26, a grand “Chhappan Bhog” feast and cow service will be organized at Om Nandeshwar Gaushala, followed by food distribution for tribal children.
A large procession is scheduled for April 27 in Surat, beginning from Babosa Temple and passing through Vinayaka Heights, Ambika Heights, and Krishna Class Seema. The procession will feature devotional floats of Lord Parshuram and Khetaram Ji, DJ music, women’s devotional groups, and participation from thousands of devotees. On April 28, essential supplies will be distributed at the Dindoli Old Age Home.
The main celebration will take place on April 29 at Vipra Gaurav Bhavan with worship of Lord Parshuram, followed by a special buttermilk distribution event outside the Surat Textile Market in the afternoon. The procession and events will include devotional music, traditional attire, and cultural showcases to immerse attendees in spiritual fervor.
Prominent members and office bearers of the national executive body including Kamna Khandelwal, Dinesh Sharma, Babu Bhai Paliwal, Dharesh Pareek, Damodar Gaur, Giridhari Singh Rajpurohit, Ramavatar Pareek, Pradeep Pareek, Manish Pareek, Bhagwati Paliwal, Sukhdev Gaur, Shravan Joshi, and Pankaj Sharma participated in the planning meeting. Treasurer Vinod Saraswat urged all Vipra members to contribute financially to ensure the event’s grandeur and success.
