Seven-year-old boy dies in Surat after being hit by school bus while crossing road with mother

A tragic incident occurred in Surat's Pal area on Wednesday when a 7-year-old boy was hit by a school bus driver while crossing the road with his mother. The child later succumbed to his injuries. The bus driver has been detained by the police.

The victim, Abdul Razak, belonged to a labourer family working at a construction site on the Pal-Gauravpath road. The mother and son were on their way to the vegetable market when the incident occurred. According to police sources, the school bus driver was driving at high speed when he hit the child.
