Telugu Community Celebrates Ugadi Festival with Devotion and Enthusiasm in Surat

Surat, March 30 – The Telugu community in Surat celebrated the Ugadi festival with great enthusiasm and devotion at the Shri Markandeshwar Mahadev Temple located in Limbayat Pratapanagar. Marking the beginning of the Telugu New Year, community members exchanged the traditional "Ugadi Pachadi" to convey festive greetings to one another.

According to Rappolu Buchhiramulu, a prominent leader of the Telugu community in Surat and BJP General Secretary of the Limbayat-Udhna Yard Ward, the celebration featured a special session on annual horoscopes and predictions for the new year.

A specially invited Telugu priest shared insights into the astrological forecasts for individuals and predictions concerning the country and the world. Attendees listened attentively as the priest delivered his spiritual and astrological guidance.

The event served as a vibrant display of Telugu culture and tradition, promoting unity and cultural heritage within the community. Ugadi, a festival of significant cultural importance to the Telugu people, was celebrated with collective joy and traditional fervor by all who attended.
