Vadodara : Road Safety Meeting Held in Dahod Under Superintendent of Police’s Leadership

Dahod, March 13 – A significant meeting on road safety and security was held at the Dahod District Seva Bhavan under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Dr. Rajdeep Singh Jhala. The discussion focused on ensuring proper street lighting, promoting helmet use, controlling vehicle speed, and addressing other essential safety measures.

During the meeting, Dr. Jhala emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations, including helmet use and controlling overspeeding. He directed officials to ensure that speed breakers are mandatorily installed on both sides of highways near hotels and petrol pumps to prevent accidents. He further stressed the need to discourage wrong-side driving and high-speed travel, instructing concerned authorities to prioritize necessary safety measures to curb road mishaps.

As per agency report, the review also covered pending judicial cases at the C.B. police station, alongside discussions on handling religious pressures and maintaining law and order. Guidance was provided to ensure smooth execution of judicial and administrative procedures.

The meeting saw the participation of Resident Additional Collector J.M. Rawal, ARTO C.D. Patel, Prant Officer, Municipal Chief Officer Yashpal Singh Vaghela, Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhandari, Mamlatdar, and other relevant officials. The discussions aimed at reinforcing road safety regulations and implementing effective measures to prevent traffic-related incidents in the district.
