Surat, March 12 – The Sikar Nagar Parishad has announced that its annual Holi Sneha Milan celebration will take place on March 23, Sunday, at Agr Exotica on Dumas Road. The event promises to showcase the rich heritage of Rajasthani art and culture through various performances and festivities.
Parishad President Shri Ramji Bidawatka stated that the celebration will feature captivating cultural performances by artists from the Shekhawati region along with talented local folk performers from Surat. The event will include traditional Rajasthani dance and music, particularly highlighting the vibrant spirit of Fag, the musical genre associated with Holi. Additionally, young individuals who have earned professional degrees during the 2023-24 academic session will be honored for their achievements.
General Secretary Gokulchand Bajaj and Vice President Dinesh Sharma have extended an open invitation to all Sikar natives residing in Surat, encouraging them to participate in the celebration with their families.
A meeting was held to finalize the event’s preparations, attended by Treasurer Ramesh Chowkadika, Convener Dinesh Sharma, Shyamsundar Sihotia, Rajesh Bidawatka, Vishnu Malpani, Bahadur Singh Sisodia, Ramotar Chhipa, and Ajay Bidawatka, among other dignitaries. The discussion focused on the final program outline and logistical arrangements.
The Fagotsav at Agr Exotica, Dumas Road, will serve as a wonderful opportunity for the Sikar community in Surat to strengthen social bonds and stay connected to their cultural roots.
