Daylight Burglary in Vadodara: Jewelry Worth ₹4.40 Lakhs Stolen
Family discovers break-in upon returning from a neighbor's house
Vadodara, India – A family in Sejakuwa village, Padra taluka, discovered that their house had been broken into and jewelry worth ₹4.40 lakhs stolen during a brief period when they were away at a neighbor's home. The incident occurred on Sunday morning while the family members were attending a gathering in the neighborhood.
Nirali Urvesh Patel, who lives with her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and ten-year-old son Devansh, was away from her home when the burglary took place. Her husband currently resides in Dubai. On Sunday morning, Nirali's mother-in-law had gone to attend a funeral in Anand, while Nirali, her father-in-law, and sister-in-law visited a neighbor's house at noon. Upon receiving information that the lock on their house had been broken, they returned home to find the safe open and several valuable items missing.
Besides the gold jewelry worth ₹4.40 lakhs, a school bag belonging to Nirali's sister-in-law Loka was also stolen from the drawer of the safe. After discovering the break-in, Nirali immediately contacted the police, who arrived at the scene and began their investigation. The authorities are currently taking further action based on the statements provided by the family members.
