Traffic Woes Near Surat's Raghukul Textile Market Addressed with Joint Inspection
Surat, February 21: The road connecting Khadi to Garnala, near the Raghukul Textile Market, had been closed, causing significant disruption to business activities and public movement. The closure resulted in severe traffic congestion, leading to inconvenience for traders and local commuters alike.
To resolve the issue, a special site inspection was conducted under the guidance of ACP V.P. Gamit, along with Neeraj Agarwal, Chairman of the FOSTTA Traffic Committee, and members of the Raghukul Market Management Committee. During the inspection, the current traffic situation was assessed, and potential solutions were discussed to alleviate the congestion.
ACP Gamit assured that adequate traffic personnel would be deployed to maintain a smooth flow of traffic in the area. He also emphasized the need for appropriate security arrangements to ensure safety and prevent any disorder, thereby allowing uninterrupted business operations.
The Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association (FOSTTA) remains actively involved in addressing business-related issues, including those related to the textile market, traffic, and other concerns. FOSTTA emphasized the importance of a united and positive approach to solving market area challenges and reiterated its commitment to finding effective solutions to support the trading community and facilitate smooth operations.
