GSFC University Hosts International Conference on AI Integration Across Disciplines in Vadodara
Vadodara, February 20: The GSFC University in Vadodara organized its first international conference on "Interdisciplinary Horizons: Integration of AI in Science, Management, and Technology" on 20-21 February 2025. The event highlighted the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in sectors ranging from healthcare to finance, transportation, and agriculture, focusing on process optimization, predictive analytics, and driving innovation. The conference witnessed participation from researchers across 8 countries and 12 Indian states, with scholars presenting 136 research papers.
The two-day conference aimed to provide a platform for educators, researchers, and industry experts to exchange knowledge and collaborate on the transformative potential of AI in various fields. The event received research contributions from countries including the USA, Serbia, Malawi, Myanmar, and Taiwan, alongside submissions from 12 Indian states. After a rigorous review process, 30 high-quality research papers were selected for publication in the Scopus-indexed Springer Conference Journal.
Prominent speakers included Professor Vladan Devedic from Belgrade University and Professor Ram Bilas Pachori from IIT Indore. The conference covered a wide range of topics under AI in Science, including medical AI, deep learning in healthcare, disease prediction, EEG analysis, weather forecasting models, agriculture, and bioinformatics. The AI technologies discussed spanned quantum computing, wireless sensor networks, cybersecurity, fraud detection, secure computer data, NLP, voice recognition, evolutionary computing, and robotics. In management, presentations focused on financial AI, risk analysis, sports analytics, financial fraud detection, market forecasting, business intelligence, data visualization, smart automation, and supply chain optimization.
During the inaugural session, GSFC University President P.K. Taneja, IIT Indore's Professor Ram Bilas Pachori, Professor Vladan Devedic from Belgrade University, Dr. Amelia Taylor from Malawi University's Business and Applied Sciences AI Faculty, and Professor Anand Nayar, Vice President (Research) at Da Nang University, Vietnam, addressed the gathering. The event also saw participation from renowned speakers, researchers, and a large number of students, contributing to an engaging and insightful exchange on the future of AI in science, management, and technology.
