Three-Day 'Udyog-2025' Industrial Exhibition to be Held in Surat from February 21-23

Surat, February 19 – The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI) and the Southern Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industries Development Centre have jointly organized the 15th edition of the 'Udyog-2025' industrial exhibition, set to take place at Sarsana Convention Centre from February 21 to 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Inauguration and Distinguished Guests

The exhibition will be inaugurated by Prabhubhai Vasava, Member of Parliament from Bardoli, who will attend as the chief guest. Special guests for the event include Dr. Farooq Patel, Managing Director of KP Energy Limited, Milan Parikh, Chairman of Jainam Broking Limited, and Yash Lala, Director of Kakrapar Atomic Power Station.

SGCCI’s Legacy in Industrial Exhibitions

Speaking about the event, SGCCI President Vijay Mevawala stated that the chamber has been committed to the development of trade and industry in South Gujarat for over 85 years. The biennial industrial exhibition has been a successful initiative, bringing together industry leaders and businesses from across India.

Wide Participation from Across India

A total of 175 exhibitors from cities such as Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Rajkot, Ankleshwar, Jamnagar, Vapi, Valsad, Daman & Diu, Mumbai, Thane, New Delhi, Noida, Jalandhar, Himachal Pradesh, Udaipur, and Tamil Nadu have confirmed participation in the exhibition. The event will showcase solar energy solutions, industrial equipment, water treatment technologies, electrical and ventilation systems, among others.

Diverse Industrial Segments to Be Showcased

The exhibition will feature products and services from various industries, including textile ancillary, electronics & instrumentation, engineering, environmental solutions, banking & finance, industrial security, and renewable energy. Special pavilions will be set up for government PSUs, corporate sectors, and emerging industrial safety technologies.

Dedicated Pavilion for Differently-Abled Entrepreneurs

For the first time, a special pavilion will be allocated for differently-abled entrepreneurs, providing them a platform to showcase their products, including incense sticks and other handicrafts.

Key Industry Segments in the Exhibition

The event will cover electrical, electronics & instrumentation, displaying automation, robotics, AC/DC drives, cables, switchgear, inverters, UPS systems, and batteries. The engineering sector will feature machine tools, compressors, pumps, valves, cutting tools, welding equipment, industrial safety solutions, hazardous waste management, and pollution control systems.

The service sector will showcase banking, finance, insurance, tourism, logistics, warehousing, and IT services. The renewable energy segment will highlight solar, wind, bio-energy, hydro energy systems, generators, transformers, and electrochemical technologies.

Event Leadership and Coordination

Providing further insights, SGCCI President Vijay Mevawala, along with Vice President Nikhil Madrasi, former president Ramesh Vaghasia, Secretary Nirav Mandalewala, Treasurer Mrunal Shukla, and exhibition committee members Bijal Jariwala, Bhavesh Tailor (Chairman of Udyog-2025), and Sanjay Gajiwala (Co-Chairman), emphasized the significance of the exhibition in promoting industrial growth and innovation.
