Surat's Homemaker School Hosts Mehendi Competition to Empower Women

Surat, India - The Grihini Pathshala, an organization dedicated to the sustainable development of women and the promotion of India's cultural artistic heritage, hosted a Mehendi competition on Monday, April 24th. The event, which aimed to enhance the skill level of the youth, took place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the hall of the Municipal Corporation located in Mota Varachha. Over 100 contestants participated in the competition.

Several notable guests attended the event, including Surat Mayor Hemaliben Boghavala, Nimishaben Parekh (Founder of Mehandi Sanskriti), Nayanaben Katrodia (Kalarpan-Artist), Manishaben Ahir (Corporator of Karanj Magob), Ankitaben Mulani (Motivational Speaker, Author, and Digital Producer), Chef Vilasben Valani (Housewife Diet Rep.), and Chef Ashaben Koshiya (Housewife Business Community).

The competition awarded prizes totaling ₹3,000, including three winning prizes, two incentive prizes, and three best category prizes. Additionally, gift voucher coupons and certificates were provided to all participants. The event successfully concluded, furthering Grihini Pathshala's mission to empower women and preserve India's rich cultural heritage.
