Surat - A 22-year-old man was kidnapped and robbed in Dindoli, Surat, after being attacked by a group of unknown assailants on motorbikes near Limbayat Nilgiri Circle.
Ashish Naresh Pal, a resident of Dindoli Ramipark Society, was standing outside Sairath Travels shop at Limbayat Nilgiri Circle around 8 pm on April 22nd when he was struck by the assailants who were riding two bikes. They then forced the injured youth onto one of the bikes and drove away.
The kidnappers took Ashish to various locations, assaulting him and demanding money. They managed to steal Rs. 2,000 in cash and coerce him into transferring an additional Rs. 2,000 to the moped driver's mobile number, amounting to a total loss of Rs. 4,000. The assailants later abandoned Ashish near Kinnari Cinema on Ring Road.
Before leaving the scene, the attackers threatened Ashish with death if he reported the incident to the police. Undeterred, Ashish filed a complaint, and the police have since launched an investigation into the case.
