Acharya Mahashramanji Graces Bhagwan Mahavir University with His Presence

Surat - Acharya Mahashramanji arrived in Surat on Saturday, where he received a grand welcome at Bhagwan Mahavir University. A large rally of devotees escorted the spiritual leader from Anuvrat Dwar to the university campus via Canal Road. University trustees, staff, and Jain community leaders welcomed Acharya Mahashramanji with great enthusiasm.

Professor Sanjay Jain expressed his gratitude for Acharya Mahashramanji's visit, saying it was a great fortune that the spiritual leader would be present on campus from April 22nd during Akshay Tritiya. On April 23rd, a ceremony involving 1,200 ascetics will take place to mark the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. On April 27th, during the university's convocation ceremony, Acharya Mahashramanji will confer degrees upon 1,000 students. Additionally, 15,000 students will take a pledge to lead addiction-free lives in his presence.

Anil Jain, providing further information on the events, shared that various programs would take place over the next nine days in Acharya Mahashramanji's presence. The community feels fortunate to welcome the spiritual leader to Surat after 22 years, as his arrival is seen as a blessing for the city and the university.

Dr. Harshita Jain and trustee Nina Jain also expressed their happiness and pride in hosting Acharya Mahashramanji at Bhagwan Mahavir University, noting that the occasion fills them with joy and enthusiasm.
