Chamber of Commerce Delegation Visits Laxmipati Weaving and Garment Unit

Surat: A delegation of 54 members from the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), led by Industrial Tour Committee Chairman Arvind Babawala and Vice Chairman Chetan Sheth, recently visited the Laxmipati Weaving and Garment Unit located in Sachin.

The primary objective of the visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire value chain of the textile industry. Samirbhai, head of the Laxmipati Weaving Unit, along with HR head Hardik Gawani and HR team member Ms. Sakshiben, provided detailed insights into the operations of the unit to the visiting delegation.

The delegation closely observed the entire process, from fabric production to the making of finished garments. This included weaving, spinning, processing, and garment manufacturing.

During the visit, the unit's head also expressed a willingness to guide chamber members in establishing their own garmenting units. He shared insights on achieving success in the textile industry.

This industrial tour provided a valuable learning experience for the chamber members, offering them new knowledge about the workings of the textile industry.
