Top-Earning Indian Celebrities of 2024 Revealed: Shah Rukh Khan Leads the List

Mumbai – The list of top-earning Indian celebrities for 2024 has been released, highlighting the highest taxpayers among artists in the country. Leading the list is Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, followed by South Indian actor Thalapathy Vijay in second place. The list also includes cricket sensation Virat Kohli, who ranks among the top celebrities paying substantial taxes in the financial year 2024.

According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan has paid an impressive ₹92 crore in taxes for the fiscal year. Close behind him is Tamil cinema star Thalapathy Vijay, who contributed ₹80 crore in taxes. Salman Khan holds the third position on the list, having paid ₹75 crore in taxes.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Tax Contribution

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, who has been making waves for his role in *Kalki 2898*, also made a significant tax contribution. The film performed well at the box office, and Big B paid ₹71 crore in taxes for the year. Meanwhile, cricketer Virat Kohli ranks fifth on the list with a tax contribution of ₹66 crore.

Interestingly, only three cricketers – Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Sachin Tendulkar – made it to the top 10. Dhoni paid ₹38 crore, while Sachin Tendulkar contributed ₹28 crore in taxes. Other sports personalities feature in the top 20 of the list. Actor Hrithik Roshan rounds off the top 10 with a tax payment of ₹28 crore.

The revelation of these figures has surprised many, shedding light on the financial contributions of India’s top celebrities.
