In a heart-wrenching event in Vadodara's Dabka village, the construction of a Ganesh pandal turned tragic when its iron structure came into contact with a high-tension electrical line. The accident resulted in the death of a local provision store owner, Prakash Dahyabhai Jadav, also known as Sachin, and left 14 others severely injured.

The incident occurred during the assembly of the pandal, a temporary structure set up for the Ganesh festival. Eyewitnesses reported that an iron angle suddenly struck the high-tension line, electrifying the structure and injuring those working on the site. Sachin, known in his community not only for his business but also as a skilled cricketer, was among those caught in the deadly surge.

Local police inspector M.R. Chaudhary from Vadu station confirmed that police were quick to respond and an investigation is currently underway. An accidental death case has been registered following a complaint by the victim's family.
