Vadodara to Host Three Government Exams on Consecutive Sundays
Over 150,000 Candidates Expected to Participate, Administration Prepares Seating Arrangements
Vadodara is set to host three government examinations on consecutive Sundays in April, with over 150,000 candidates expected to participate. The administration is actively preparing seating arrangements to accommodate the large number of examinees.
Following last Sunday's Junior Clerk exam, the next examination on the schedule is the TET exam for primary teacher recruitment, set for April 16th. Around 23,000 candidates have registered for the exam, which will take place at 116 centers in Vadodara.
On April 23rd, the TET-2 exam for primary teacher recruitment will be held, with seating arrangements being made in 192 buildings in Vadodara. Approximately 38,000 candidates are expected to appear for this examination.
The third exam, scheduled for the following Sunday, is for Talati recruitment in the government. Sources indicate that seating arrangements for 100,000 candidates have been ordered in Vadodara, requiring around 300 buildings to accommodate the large number of examinees.
Vadodara city faces a shortage of available buildings for the examinations, and school buildings in remote rural areas cannot be used due to accessibility concerns. As a result, the administration is now considering seating arrangements in private colleges and schools. In total, more than 1.5 lakh candidates are likely to appear for various government exams in Vadodara throughout the month.
