A young man working in a saree factory in Surat's Sachin Suda sector was tragically killed after being stabbed while resisting a mobile phone robbery. The incident occurred after midnight on Tuesday when three unidentified individuals on a bike attempted to steal the laborer's mobile phone.
According to police sources, the victim, Sunny Chauhan, was walking through the area at around 12:30 a.m. when one of the three assailants tried to snatch his mobile phone. Chauhan resisted, prompting the attacker to stab him in the stomach. The victim fell to the ground as the three perpetrators fled the scene on their bike. Chauhan later succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after the fatal incident, the trio robbed another young man of his mobile phone some distance away. Following the robbery and murder, Sachin and Sachin GIDC police have taken swift action to investigate the case and apprehend the culprits.
