Grand 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign in Surat from August 10-13

Preparations are in full swing to make the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, running from August 10 to 13 in Surat, a grand success. In a meeting chaired by Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi, it was decided to organize a two-kilometer long Tiranga Yatra from the city's Y Junction to Lalbhai Contractor Stadium on the evening of August 11. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also participate in this yatra. Minister Harsh Sanghvi has given necessary instructions to ensure a large number of citizens participate in this padyatra.

Launched on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this campaign aims to instill a spirit of patriotism among the people and pay tribute to the martyrs. To make this campaign successful in Surat, the government has appealed to citizens to hoist the tricolor on their homes, shops, and institutions.

Various Programs in the City and District

Several programs will be organized in Surat city and district for this campaign. These include Tiranga Yatras in rural areas, special programs in schools, and rallies organized by the Municipal Corporation. The government's goal is to promote the message of unity and integrity by hoisting the tricolor in every house.

Minister of State for Forest and Environment Mukesh Patel, Minister of State for Education Praful Panseria, MP Mukesh Dalal, MLAs Sandeep Desai, Sangeetaben Patil, Praveen Ghoghari, Arvind Rana, Kanti Balar, District Collector Dr. Saurabh Pardhi, Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shalini Agarwal, and other officials attended the meeting.
