Kirti Vardhan Singh Heads to Kuwait: Bringing Relief and Repatriation for Tragic Indian Workers

Delhi, 13 June (H.S): The Ministry of State for External Affairs, Kirti Vardhan Singh, will be travelling to Kuwait to personally oversee the relief measures and ensure the speedy repatriation of the mortal remains of the Indian workers who tragically lost their lives in a fire incident that occurred on Wednesday. The decision for this visit was made after an urgent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where Singh expressed India's sympathy for the victims and their families.

The Indian government has also announced ex-gratia relief of Rs 2 lakh from the PM Relief Fund to the families of those who lost their lives. This visit reflects India's commitment to its citizens and its dedication to providing support during times of crisis. MoS Singh's presence in Kuwait will not only provide much-needed assistance to the affected families but also send a strong message of solidarity and support from the Indian government.
