Surat to Face Water Supply Disruption in 5 Zones on June 6
12 lakh residents urged to store water ahead of maintenance work

On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the Surat Municipal Corporation will halt water supply across five zones due to essential electrical repair and maintenance work at the Sarthana Water Works. This disruption will impact approximately 12 lakh residents in the following areas:
East Zone-A (Varachha):
- TP Scheme No. 38 (Nana Varachha)
- TP Scheme No. 20 (Nana Varachha-Kapodara)
- Nana Varachha Village and surrounding areas
East Zone-B (Sarthana)
Central Zone (North Division):
- Railway Station area
- Delhi Gate to Chowk Bazar
- Highway towards the north
- Mahidharpura, Rampura, Haripura, Syedpura, Dhastipura, Shahpore-Nanavat and adjoining areas
Limbayat Zone:
- Nilgiri Circle and Laxman Nagar
- Areas around Navagam Patel Falia
- Nandanvan Society
- T.P. Scheme No. 33 (Dumbhal), 39 Part, 40, and 41
- T.P. Scheme No. 07 (Anjana), 08 (Umarwada), 19 (Parvat-Magob), 33 (Dumbhal), 34 (Magob-Dumbhal), 53 (Magob-Dumbhal), and 64 (Dumbhal-Magob)
Eighth Zone:
- Suman Cell
- Vesu Village
- Someshwar Chowk
- Suda Bhawan
- Kushnadham
- Devdarshan
- Siddh Row House
- Piplod and adjoining societies
- Bhimrad, Khajod, Bhimrad Village, and Sarsana
The Municipal Corporation appeals to all affected residents to store adequate water in advance and use water sparingly during this maintenance period.
